1. felt quite upset with the 1st 3 papers, esp the 3rd paper!

2. 4th and 5th not too bad bahx?


1st paper: PKMT - did not like it very much, cause i never memorised a lot of it
2nd paper: IEF - well, i hated the mcqs and true/false questions. so hard!
3rd paper: OM - due to under preparation, i could not answer a BIG question that is of big weightage! my formula got wrong and everything went wrong.
4th paper: AAA - nice paper! I did a lot of practice for the statement of equity. it was just like a breeze!
5th paper: EC- not too bad? or good either?

had my official opening today. it was lousy like shit! omg. felt so horrible. followed by team overture meeting... lol. then royston was again critisising my business. felt quite horrible... you have not gone through how hard it was to do the proposal and finally the presentation. now we face so much rejection from my nail business that i will just leave it and let it rot. Afterall, our business will end soon.

well, have been rather busy these days and felt rather tired. kena forced to take cab to school on many occassions.

1. cannot wake up! For my first lesson and second lesson of AF, i went to sch via cab. Awful waste of money!

2. read people's blog and some express some unhappiness with me/ dislike me. felt disappointed with myself

3. confronted by people that I complained that the cca pts amt given not enough/ not correct. But no matter how matter how many times i denied, they choose not to trust me.

4. I wonder how long can i survive in rotaract. shall i retire next acad yr? Feel so unappreciated sometimes. and i know who dislike me in the club. members and board. i have made enermies! omg. this is bad... time to leave b4 more bad things happen...

5. had lots of fun shopping with weitai and ah roy. esp all the scenarios mentioned by weitai. hahahas. went to some of ers meetings.

6. did the passion synergy meeting. heard ppl say too long and ppl say don't understand.... prays that people will initiatively ask me... thats the best. and i booked a small room! omg. stupid npal.

7. fantastic workshop by charm's mother. nice! many thanks to charm's mum! And the meeting held by the rotary club of raffles city was great~!

So she was targeting charmaine, max, joel - kept asking them questions. wah... everyone was so quiet during her lecture. no break! and even it went overtime. hahaha.... =D

later went to work lors. so much work! i cannot clear it!!!!

It started at 1pm! omg. then i was forced to change appointment time to 3pm. Meeting was quite boring i think? I think i am getting sick of meetings le...

Then later met royston and weitai to go shopping! Ah tai bought lots of stuff lors. Then we chatted, crapped and so on. I did not know that Ah roy was recceing for the mothercare related shops lors. We were looking at the available ones at suntec, millenia walk, and marina square. Afterall royston need a lot of time to decide. *oops*

hahahaa. then we had lots of chat during lunch and dinner. lunch was at a very classy eating house and dinner was at food court.

overall... it was fun!

wahhh. had a meeting with grp 3. Now they called themselves team overture after the meeting le. wahh... lots of things discussed.. a little messy? I reached home 12 plus midnight! wowie....

eeks. a very NOISY meeting just now. Wahhh. really ar. nowadays, meetings are not controlled very well these days. then so many small talks. then so irritating!!!

then also. cca pt also never key in. ask to post entry on the events coming up also nv do. wah lau! i give up la. dun bother abt them le. waste my time and effort only. then only wait for time to pass. i dunnoe ah... they are capable but just lazy to do only. wad a waste! omg. stupid.

Flag day + Chinese Garden

I was woken by wilson's sms today - omg. hahaha.

Today I went for a flag day for the Singapore Cancer Society. Quite good - I think? firstly, this is the first time i just ask people to join in this event NOT in the rotaract account.

Until now, I am still amazed with everyone's willingness to serve. by just this person's friend aka "connections" and so on, I managed to have a whooping 18 participants (excluding myself) involved in the flag day! wowie! I was thinking - all of us are volunteers. No matter what club we are from, we still gather in the end. Like this time, i have 2-3 BP-NP mentoring folks.

So I met wilson at JE mrt and we took train to sommerset MRT. Some already reached le =D. Then after 20mins of waiting of this person and that person, we set off to register liaos.

After registration, one group of us went to KFC to eat. OMG. KFC again. hhahaa. I just ate it yesterday lehhs. hahahaa.

Then it was the thingy. Royston, Jan Sen, Enqing and I were stationing ourselves around the traffic junctions whereby people from Hereen were crossing the road to Cathay Cineleisure and people from sommerset mrt going cathay cine. The result was like not bad? royston was like very enthu lors. hahas. So he was like using his extremely enthu attitude to approach people to donate. People were so touched by his enthu that they gave $5 lors. cool! hahaha.

I applaud for ah roy's enthu! hehe. Then there was auntie in red. She was damn friendly lors. Chatted with her while waiting for the traffic light to change colour.

Soon, it was 2pm le... yay! =D We set off to MRT station to return our stuff. I found out tht the bags were not sealed properly! can kapoh the money lors. omg.

Then later jansen, royston and i went to the arts musuem. went to look at diamonds, saphires, ruby... so nice! The art of Cartier =D. Too bad there no photography allowed. if not can post some pics le. hehe.

Then we took mrt to meet the people going for the lantern festival event~! It was held at Chinese Garden and it was sooooo smoky! omg, then we were like roaming everywhere with a smoky background - not a very good thing. zzz. hahahaha.

but ah roy was like really very crappy. Then suddenly we were getting more and more crappier and auntie royston appeared into the story. then dunnoe was aunroy appeared. hehehe. wahh... can laugh until peng. then we were talking about dunnoe wad sp, np, rp. Then i comment. ai ya. the most we become sp students for 1 week lors.heheheehe. hahaaha.

the night ended with a sumptous dinner at CPF board there de coffeeshop. the food was damn nice! hahahahahah enjoyed it!

Awww. Stupid Haze! Wah lau!!! Actually today was such a nice day - went out with Sean and Chuan for the first time! Actually, what i did was that i arranged to meet them at same time and location without telling them we will meet. So it was a small surprise for them and we played pool! hahaas. sean VS chuan and so on. Updated each other on what was happening and so on.

Sean's trip to Chiangrai, Thailand was rather cool I think? Nice. I like going Thailand. It is such a amazing land! hahahaa. Then he was like talking about Thaisin and so on... wahaha. Then i think the place he went was more ulu than mine. His was a 3hour trip from Chiangmai to Chiangrai.

Then chuan was like keen to organise a gathering. hahas. see how lars.

mutts and mittens part 2

wahhh. go back to mutts and mittens AGAIN. all because someone thought 4th Oct is a thurs. =.=

This time was a new experience as i hanged around with grp3- themed 2nd chance and we had fun at mutts and mittens!

well, later went back work and returned the clickers peising gave me to jeffrey. Then it was so nice as i remembered yesterday's meeting @ mac having big breakfast. nice!

Aww.. Went to Mutts and Mittens at Pasir Ris to play with cats and dogs!!! So cute. Sally went along lors. Had lots of fun! Chatted a lot of our stuff.

project tutor - 4th week in running!

Well, I am still proud to say that Project Tutor runs and still runs as smooth as ever! 4th week liao lors. so happy.

On some weeks - our tutors got some matters - cannot make it and sick so on... But... we still survived! Students also showed attitude with by not coming and so on. So its like more of a relationship that is interconnected. =D

this week - i teach 2 kids lors =.= James suddenly cannot make it.

then suddenly go this p6 boy. lol!

Logistics Follow up

Erm... today was like so sianz lors. return this return that. Then the worst was returning the microphone stand. Because it was broken, the lady incharge looked at me like she wanted to eat me lors. Then she insisted on a formal email to the admin incharge. Lucky astro's folks helped me carry the stuff. many thanks - evelyn~!

Then i wanted to return AV equipment borrowed by Simon. Stupid! the people all take leave. How to return? There were no people in the office.... Stupid! hahahaaa.

So I went to Estates Office and complain. Lucky there was one guy he was more trusting. He took my bag of things trusting i returned everything. Whew!!

I went for Board meeting and it was a real debate over the projects... lol...

Then later was fellowship at Bukit Timah Food Centre. :)

Sun - erms. last day liaos!! so happy. so it was like all the prize presentation and all. but the most troublesome problem was logistics to put at ERS club house. hahah. lucky weishing got car!! So happy when i head that he drove it to school.

Then it was the macdonald reunion. Nice! Weitai was talking about the fire extinguisher i was finding to spray away the smoke. Then he say the fire extingusher expired liaos! hhahahahaha. wah reallly ah. Damn funny!

In overall, I think this camp is one of the most fun one around and I was not a participant for the first time! I have not organised a camp before! And i hope to organise one! Really, i like hearing all the cheers and so on. Its like the unity we have. Then all do community service de. Wahh. really nice nice.

Then Ms Leong said: Simon and I had this vision. Every year, there would be FOC Camp, Sports Camp. But we do not have a community service clubs camp. If we wanna have a community service clubs camp to the freshies, it would be our vision to achieve.

I was so touched when i heard it! Wah. I hope in my batch or next batches, such miracles could happen. Well, we can have FOC, Sports Camp. Why not comm service clubs camp?

the story has just begun...

Camp Day 2

Sat- woke up late. When i was awake, the campus run was about to begin and they were doing warm up exercises.

After wash up, we went to prepare breakfast. qiong ping was more of the breakfast in charge that day bahx.

So it was the preparation for Dr. Gan Su Lin's talk. We were like briefed by the camp commandents that we cannot sleep during her sharing. What happened? I almost slept! Her voice was so mono tone lors. haiyo. then my eyes were soooooo heavy. lol. but i think her content is not bad and kinda touching.

When it was lunch, we forgot to prepare drink! (due to the talk) OMG. qiongping quickly prepare the drinks at hq and brought to canteen 1. Then Dr. Gan did not even go to different grps to interact. She was happily at her own seat eating the food. dotssss!

next it was the diver's talk but game masters went to prepare the stations. nice games i think? it was rather challenging. Group 5 missed the fun! =X

dinner was shifted to canteen 1 (yay!!!) So happy lors. when my request was fufilled.

Cultural night followed and i think all teams are commendable! wahwah. songs everything chop chop pack already. Then storyline all not bad!! nice! later it was clubbing time and a lot stuff happened. we played we danced and we had fun!!

Then that night - weitai and i were talking about dance sport. And talked about tt XXX person's hair. omg.... laughed until i pengz.

Well, tt night, me, weitai, meigeok, amy all like v hyper. haha. kept talking. then simon ask us don't talk le. LOL.

Camp Day 1

When it was about 7-8plus, we were quite prepared and headed towards LT73. Too bad we did not manage to get table and chairs from estates. So the LT outside were all the SFs sitting on the steps, welcoming the participants.

Mr Mun, ex BA deputy director gave his speech on the camp and the introduction of CCAs followed.

Qiong ping was like very nervous during the presentation as she could not pronounce some of the words clearly due to tension. Leo's president Usula was also quite lost when she did her presentation? Then BP-NP mentoring did a good job! Rotaract - glenn used a funny accent to present. i preferred his ordinary voice though.

Then it was ice breaking sessions! Wei tai and i were looking for places to wash the tumblers-igloos. After some PRing with the cleaners upstairs, they let us wash the igloos! yay!!

Lunch followed. Then Weitai and i were having fun preparing the drinks. especially the shaking part. So fun. We always break into laughter when we shake the drink lor. hahahahhaa
After that, we were scrambling around the ERS club house to find for tablecloth, flower for Mr. Ben tan and ms joyce's sharing. then weitai finally found this nice thing to prevent the flower from dropping.

What an achievement when we saw the materials available! Wahhhh. :)

Mr Ben Tan's sharing was like very BA? I hate to say it but sometimes ar. when giving such sharing, no need to like talk so much about the past trips. sounds like some publicity efforts for BA Cares overseas trips lors. haix. if it is the BA Happy hour, then i think it is ok bahx. hahaha. later the LT was like damn quiet when it was Q&A. Amy was kind to ask many qns to keep everyone entertained. hehe.

Then it was adventure ropes and we went back to HQ to slack. hahas. very fun. at first we thought of preparing cold water for them. but we started to prepare too late and we let them go water cooler to drink water.

next, it was the brainstorming session? I think we were somehow busy with something... i think food bahx. so we had fun preparing the food until we had problem with getting hot water. We found out astro got 5 flasks and we kope 5 from them and boil water.

The unhappy thing happened around this timing lors. stupid kpoh poly forum girl. then it was like our hot water - we had lotta probs preparing it. The flasks were very dirty and there were weird particles floating in it. So weitai and i drained the water and made a new set. The water quality significantly improved liao lors.

Then this poly forum girl was kpoh and heard us talk about the water. Her itchy hand went to test the water. Somee harmless particles were spotted and she accuse say water dirty le. I at home also sometime see a little bit of partiles. They are very harmless de lors. Wahhhh. really very angry. So she was screaming must put milo powder to cover the tracks.

This solution was really very stupid as we do not have a proper ladle to stir the hot thing. OMG! Wah. really angry. Then everyone started to throw the milo in. Result? Weitai and I tried our normal method to mix the stuff but it leaked. =( the floor was wet. weitai was slightly scalded.
This thing really dampen our spirits lors. Supper was extremely quiet. weitai and i were like grumbling over the incident. the stupid girl still can dare to act nothing and look at us with the "not my fault" face.

the day ended with debrief and bath! :)

Camp Preparations/Trial

The next day - thurs was camp preparations day.

Well, I did not pack my bag properly! :( What happened was that i forgot to bring sleeping bag! Then I also forgot to prepare plastic bags for dirty clothes. So i managed to kope 3 cushions from ERS clubhouse to sleep on and plastic bags from C0-Op. :)

I met weitai at like 4plus? Then we go and collect all the AV equipment. We borrowed speakers, amphier, mic stands, mics. The speaker was damn heavy! OMG. Carrying it upstairs to ERS club house was really a miracle.

Next, we went to SDAR office to get some color papers and later back to pool side office to get the whisles, stopwatches, loud hailers and igloos. The uncle everytime look at us like very suspicious lors. =.=

Finally we proceed to HQ and then we realised we need to move all the stuff from ERS club house to HQ. OMG. So we asked some Student Faciliators to help us carry to HQ. Anyway, for everyone's information, our headquarters was at blk 18 #04-04. So our headquarters at 4th floor meant that everyday we climbed 4 floors =.=. hahaas.

Ok, finally, the things settled into HQ and we started to figure out how to use the sound system. After all the fine tunings, we have a very nice and smooth music and voice! What a sense of achievement!

Then we had dinner at canteen 2. Catered from KFC delivery. We ate halfway and suddenly the lights turned off. =.= I think we had it very very late? Cause the SFs tested the treasure hunt and evaluated its feasibility before we had dinner.

Finally - it was wash up and sleep! Wah that time already 2.30am le. LOL

Zoo

Wed - visit to zoo with Animal Lovers Club! hahaa. nice day i think? It was like the last time I went to zoo was like i was in secondary school? Yups.

People who went were Sally, Kah Chuan and the other not so shou 1s. Qian Jun also went for the thing lors. Then qian jun came with this huge earings. It looked quite different on her. Then I pretended to don't know her.

Me: (walk towards her) (gives a smile) Hi! you are?
Qian Jun: =.= Oh... hi. Qian Jun.

I was laughing so much after that. Because I also jioed Kah Chuan to do that also. But it was really damn funny. :)

Then zoo - we were like walking a lot and a lot! All really very tired when we reached KFC. After lunch, we went to a garden that grows many types of plants. Some of them are like cocoa tree, coconut tree, mango tree, pandan, pepper seeds, and so on. I think it was rather meaningful as I do not see the plants very often.

Well, the animals were AGAIN sleepy after our lunch. haha. Then it was like they were all hiding in corners having a nap. The last time i went was the same thing lors. after lunch - very warm - very sleepy - time for a nap! haahahahah.

so the zoo visit ended with a funny chat with qian jun and we were talking about huge earings. qian jun wore like really HUGE earings on that day. Then i was like suaning her why she board meeting never wear big big one. haahah. Then she was like challenging back that she will wear the next meeting. wahh. so funny! laughed until i penged.

Meeting

Tues was a meeting with all student faciliators and briefing of all games.

The room was booked by me! :) I volunteer to book the classroom. Then it was a bit boring la. but i think all SFs prepared rather well and their presentations were reasonably good!

After that, weitai and I went to buy the things we needed. Bought bamboo poles, notebooks, markers, and prizes for the camp. haha. i was wandering around ntuc with a calculator lors. then found siang yun in ntuc. hahahaa. v qiao lors. must sing stephanie sun's yu jian le. LOL.

So Weitai and I brought all the things back to his club house. So damn heavy! hahaa. Then i was like =.= when i finally reached block 73 level 3. After that we had a very long lunch i think? Talked a lot of our clubs and problems faced. nice nice.

its stressful to know that your max ave gpa will not hit 3.4 and above even i get gpa 4 for the next 3 sems. stress stress stress! :( i feel so lousy.

thailand rocks!

hahaa back from thailand after 14 days of community service, fun and more fun. I think thailand is a very AMAZING country and i think i will want to go back there again!

Well, i think shopping was most fun and the ending was like amazing race. We were like counting down saying 5 mins left and so on. Everyone was rushing here and there and making their last minute purchases. Stayed in a hotel that had no lift but the room was very comfortable looking? Too bad i only slept there for like 1-2 hours and we had to leave for airport at 5am phuket time.


thailand is such a nice place! i think it will be part of the most memorable things of my life.

Blog on thailand khao lak trip (done it in thailand)

Well, in everything, things planned may not be what is what was resulted. The few days were rather rough? I don't know la. But I was having a bad headache after we reached Phuket, Thailand. It was a mental headache. Why? When we reached khao lak, we faced the problem of space contraints ie the living conditions. We were given a chalet like house which was more for staying over for a few days ie 3 days 2 nights. But we were going to stay there for 14 days! So it was a battle of our living rights and so on. We expected a army like bunk room with lots of beds and personal cupboard. Well, it was totally differnt and 15 of us had to squeeze in this chalet like housev. there were a lot of grouses and we managed to get an additional house with TV, but there was only a room so 5 people moved to there. The rest stayed at HQ. Well, it was quite nice. I think? 10 people living in this house. To be frank, i think our living conditions are not bad? Erms. we have 2 rooms upstairs and one of them was rather big? Well, i think its not bad la. Then i think its rather reasonable.

So the first day was based on the living saga lor.


Then the next day was mending of houses using the silicon gel and the guns to shoot. Well, i paired with may aun to do the job. some houses were really very friendly and even offered us bananas. the 50 houses that we were supposed to repair was done within 1 day. =.=


So how? Don't know what to do. Result? More r&R - rest and relaxation. LOL. then luckily, the translater managed to give us more job - painting the houses. So its like the next day we went to the tsunami beach and played football! The whole day was playing lors. hahahahaaha


Well, the day was very fun!!! hahaa. play and more fun. but food and more food also. sometimes, i think i really eat like so damn much. haix. y give so many food? tea break also food - actually give us water can liao la. hahaha.


So i think thats about it bahx. i hope the next few days can have more fun bahx. :) Well, i think i sort of missed s'pore's things? The toilets, the place, and most importantly the people - my family and friends. Well, 14 days will pass soon - will blog again.

exam mood

Well. I was just thinking:

why must life be more complicated?

Advancement has bought us many benefits, but also many problems. Now a lot of us prefer to live in the old times whereby things were not so complicated and people's thinkings were also more simple.

Many of us like old school rock and roll, old things like foodstuff that resemble the old times - ie kaya roti. The old times were usually reminisced by everyone like the 80s dances - chacha, bomba, salsa and so on.

Although we live in such a modern world, many of us appreciate the old times.

Well, suddenly I realised more and more new songs sang by various singers came in. Somehow, I manage to convince myself that my collection is good enough. Sometimes, listening the old album songs like Jay Chou's Jian Dan Ai manages to suffice me.

I have been rather stressed lately especially the exam mood. I had completed 2 out of 4 exam papers but I worry that i might fail a module - FMGT.

Well, I have not been doing well in this module. Firstly, I failed this module's common test. Now, I think i have the potential to fail the exam paper. I did not finish the last question - worth 30/100 marks and lost about 10-15 marks. With such a horrible paper done, I wonder my other parts of assessment would pull me up to let me pass. I wonder my tutor would be kind enough to pull me up. She was like rather unhappy with me that day when I was 1.5 hours late for her lesson. Nevertheless, i will just pray.

Next exam was BLAW. BLAW was not too bad I think? How bad it was will not be lower than C la. If it was I would feel very sad. Hopefully blaw can get final grade of B+. Please give me the wish. thank you.

The next two exams are HRM and CMA. Then, I will be flying off to Thailand. Most likely, my next post will be after 6 sep, unless thailand there got internet access. haahaha.

erms. well. i thought our presentation was ok, but our tutor was like saying our thing was not good? :( Stupid. Well, i must say that our presentation did not show the idea clearly. but i thought it was pretty ok? We already say already le mahx. Its a food kiosk at Jurong Point but people thought it is a mobile food kiosk, We use mobility as one of our marketing tools. But it does not mean we operate mobile. Wah lau! Damn angry.

but the worst of the worst is that they thought my cookies are BOUGHT. omg. i was really shocked by the reaction. I mean, is it really very unbelievable? :( I made it myself de lor. Then spent the whole night doing. from 9pm to 12mn. Well, so tired! Then the cookies some i made very small pieces, which is actually a lot of work. My batter was like as small as a pea. So =.=

busy busy busy

Well, sorry for updating so slowly these days! OMG. busy with projects - esp ECD. well. really very tired. then have to keep motivating people to do work. some came up no results so came up with one that needs lots of editing and i was so very the busy.

Work also very busy. and lots of things happened? There was one period that I lost my plastic holder that has all my important card. SHIT man. I was so sad and had to report loss of card to many banks. Then it was FOUND! Thank god man! Some kind soul put it into my mailbox. :))But my cards - POSB GO! card have to pay $5 for processing fee. what a cheat.

then my work pile was is never clearing? I did some validation on People's Association survey then now do some travelling one. Tired!!! I need a break!

well, have been skipping lectures lately. really very very tired. i really need a good break. FMGT- terribly late. i really don't know why. Why am i getting all the poor grades for fmgt module? so unfair!

it seems like i will not have the break soon? Right after exam the next day go thailand le. my schedule is so tight!! :( haix. after thai trip is my project launch. hahaha. wowie wowie.

1). What prompted you to come up with this event?

Well there was no exact prompt that led me to come up with this event. Rotaract club does some fund raising event every year. Last year, we had ice cream fair at Atrium in July and August. Hence, we follow up and continue with it.

Our Immediate Past Vice President, Ms Chua Xiao Ying had this contact of Mr. Michael Toh and hence we managed to negotiate a reasonable agreement that 20% of the money received would be our fund raised.

2.) Why did you want to raise funds for the tsunami victims?

Well, I hoped that we could raise some funds to help in the repairing of roofs in Khao Lak, Thailand. Rotaract Club is going there from Aug 28 to Sept 10. Khao Lak was affected by the Tsunami and many projects were undergone to rebuild these victim’s lives. Houses were built by the Rotary Clubs by they were unable to withstand the monsoon season. As a result, roofs leak when there is a heavy rain. We have decided to put silicon on the roofs and the funds raised would be used to buy the silicon. Furthermore, we also would like to use any additional funds to fund our Rotaract members if they do not have the financial ability to go for the Thailand trip.

3.) Why sell ice-cream instead of having a collection drive to get old clothes, toys and etc.?

Well, since we had the legacy of having ice cream as a fund raising method since last year, we feel that its nice to continue the same thing.

4.) How are your funds for this event being handled? How much of the money raised will be going towards helping the tsunami victims?

The funds raised will be part of our club fund. This fund would be used to fund any existing projects that we may have. For example, we are to continue our yearly trip to Red Cross Home for the disabled, we would be packing goodie bags for the residents there. The money would be used to buy the toothbrush, toothpaste, towel, etc for the residents.

Anyway, The residents of the Home suffer from various disabilities which include Down Syndrome, cerebral palsy, spastic quadriplegia, muscular dystrophy, epilepsy and other severe physical deformities. This is the only residential Home in Singapore that provides residential care to the severely disabled in Singapore.

Well, if possible, we hope to use 100% of the funds raised to buy the silicon material. Some hopefully can fund our members.

5.) How do you cover your costs of buying the ice-cream?

Well, we do not buy the ice cream. The ice cream was not bought from Wall’s but the Uncle is the owner of the ice creams.

6.) Is your ice-cream sponsored? If so, how did you get your sponsor?

Can I say it is sponsored? We brought in the ice cream seller and he is like selling ice cream for us while he earns slightly lesser money, as 20% goes to us.

7.) What is your targeted amount (funds raised) for this event?

Well, there was no exact target. We hope to raise as much funds as possible. So far, from the treasurer, she said we raised about $80

8.) Are there anymore unusual activities organised by the Rotaract Club coming up?

Unusual? Not really? Hahaha. Actually its all community service. J Our club is embarking on a new project called Project Tutor. We are going to Rotary Family Service Centre @ Rotary Foundation weekly. Every week we teach the primary school children on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. There would be different batches coming in at different timings. Well, this project will start on September 11, 2006.



9.) Also, please provide some background info about the Rotaract Club. A good start would be to tell me what sort of activities you have been organised or have been involved in and why you were involved in/organised them. Also, do provide some info about when the club started, how many members it has and some other info you may like to include about the club.


Rotaract Club is a Rotary club sponsored International Organisation of young people between 18-30 years of age, whose purpose is to provide an opportunity for them to enhance their knowledge and skills that will assist them in their personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities and schools, and to promote better relationship between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and Service.
Rotaract Clubs work under the guidance of their local Rotary Club, and take the combination of the words 'Rotary in Action'

As a Rotaractor, they are given the opportunity to participate in the 4 Avenues (Club Service, Community Service, International Service and Professional Development) to mould yourself as an all-rounder, and as an effective member of the society.

Our club is quite involved in activities to help the relevant organisations. We have some activities we consider yearly – AWWA Mooncake Festival celebration with the low income family, Christmas celebration with Red Cross Home for the disabled.

For this year, we have helped AWWA in their open house, and Rotary Family Service Centre’s 5th Anniversary Carnival.

erms. i still feel i did not do much today. worked at ssic today and kena scolding from mdm again. stupid CC. don't allow students to use the computers. wah so zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. damn angry lo. i also cannot blame her la. coz Computer Centre called her mahx and complained. wow. shocked that they actually monitor our activity. wowie. hahaha. sounds scary.

When i was at jurong east, i realised i left my IC at lib! OMG. i was so damn worried for my ic. It was left in the scanner. Fortunately, it is still there. HENG!!!! hahahahaahhaa. So it was like i had to go back school to claim my ic before i went to work.

Well, heard that mediacorp is tightening its security. making things more chim. haix. still don' have temp pass - i want! really lor. i really wish to have one. every time i come in have to change ic. so troublesome!

i always find myself digging a hole for myself as I always do too many things until i breakdown and then regret. I recently applied for a job at school job portal. I think i should block this site or something like this. Really ah. this website give me a lot of problem.

The company did an interview with me and i think i was about to sell laptops. however, i have to work 2 weekdays and 2 weekends. This is simply so stressful! I mean i have to work. I have no choice. I want to live a simpler life. having too many commitments is very stressful. very traumatic. i am a very responsible person. i hate to disappoint people as i try to get the BEST out of everything - although this is impossible. haix................

well. i am getting sick of nagging at people. and telling people things. i have repeated my new project for upteem times. zzz. so =.= hahas.

then i&e folks are getting worst and worst. got wad stupid new microsoft update as subject line and timetable change or sth like that. LAME! I mean if you want to get people's attention, you need not resort to such lame methods.

Some people are SPAMMERS and they sent 5 emails of the same thing by different people but same subject. wah lau! really very =.=. do you know i have a hard time clearing my email since lotus email is so not user friendly? I hate pressing control and press multiple email n drag it to delete. i like to select the one i wanna delete and press the delete button. haix. life is not good these days.

random thoughts

sometimes. i wonder. why must i put myself so many things to do, stressing me out? Now i am like working for the school so often that i will iding at SSIC / SSIC (ANNEX) during lunch time. Why must i join a club and be in the committee and keep myself so busy? Keeping myself busy is ok. but i wish life moved slower. i always find myself having lots of things to do. The distribution of flyers job was really very stressful for me - waking up in the wee hours ie 6am when i am not a early waker. I find myself feel so cooped and i find going to lectures are getting a waste of time. really! i mean like all the materials are there? I just need to study? LOL. that is what i feel ar. no oftense. I reallised a lot people around me hate my presence or something. am i really very horrible? I think i must review in my attitudes i hold le. its very difficult to explain, but you know that people call you just because of school. am i really that boring? do i give people that i study all the time? I beg to differ. my results have dropped like mad but the people in my class's result are doing better and better. I failed a common test and i will feel sad over it. because of my failure in tt test, my morale was very low and the presentation for tt module was sloppy. i forgot my lines and i did not like erm understand it properly? For a person like me, i don't need to memorise my things if i understand it. i will juz write the main points on the slide/showcard and i will be able to elaborate without much difficulty.

i cannot help being long winded. because i am one! hahas. i am brought up by my mum who loves nagging. haix.

np bp mentoring

well, today was rather slow, but it was fun!!!!

Afternoon: I woke up at 1pm then i was like OMG cause i was supposed to have some library meeting at 1pm. Then the lady called me and i managed to push to 2pm? :) Then i quickly rushed to school. I was carring lots of barang barang as i brought the HRM stuff to my club house as its so troublesome to bring it from home. Then i rushed to the meeting lo. I was late - hahas but she was still very friendly and all. Lucky - phew! hahas:)

So i will be going to kinokuniya initially to buy books for the school! :) But it was changed to popular bras basah as i think that guy cannot make it or something like that bahx.

So cool - choosing books for the school library! Just imagine - the new arrivals are actually the ones i chose! :)

Then i was busy with the new rotaract project i was doing for 1st july 2006. This Rotary foundation very weird one. They always tell me things that are rather last minute and I will be forced to rush out a proposal for Mrs Choo. hahas. Then i had to rush to SDAR to see her. haix.

Night: The NP BP Mentoring had this "Interactive Session." I was wondering what was it all about lo. Basically, its a meeting but it has more than what our eyes meet. We had a short meeting or what is NP BP Mentoring all about and was introduced to the events they have done.

Guess what? They held it at LT76 and i was shocked that it was the same place again. Rotaract's installation! hahas. Then i realised it was quite a fun night. We played lots of games and i think the challenge to step on the newspaper with the limited number of people was great! So as the friendship dance. Aww... reminded me of the bA camp days. In general, I think it was a great night. :) and realised yan yun and yang fang also joined np bp mentoring :) hahas. Got to know some new friends - so i think its a nice thing.

Personally, i think it will be nice if rotaract can have one. If Rotaract can have one that is that successful as np bp mentoring, i will be jumping sky high! Well I really hope enqing and jansen could come out something like this... :)

The unhappy things happened on Tues and i was really very unhappy and sad that night :(. Stupid people and more rotten respondents...

Well, on tues, in the morning, I was dismayed by 2 smses from derrick and gabe. Well, i got some predictions that gabe may not be well enough for the blaw project. He was not feeling well during the fmgt project lo. but what made me upset is derrick. how many projects he missed liao? How many discussions he miss liao? And we still put his name. I think i must talk to mrs gopalan liao. Then also disappointed la. Suddenly xian xu call me and say hrm cancelled le. STUPID. then really very =.=|||| then i was like upset why these people are not taking the projects seriously. My hope was to finish 90% of the projects by the end of the hols. the end? 50%. What the hell. i wanted to do ecd, but no one seems to want to do it. I had to rush blaw coz the deadline so near! :( Then now i would just wait for 2-3 days before the deadline then do.

Then Eugene happily said he wanted to have the project at 11am. The result? he reached nearly 1pm and he was even later than iwan. omg. So very what the hell! I said 1pm initially what. I mean people like me, iwan,gabe -- do you think they are early birds? Max - i think he would be on time usually.

So the day also ended rather unhappily? Stupid respondent. I was doing some validation and there was some hooos and haaas over a small matter. I wanted to talk to mrs kumar but this guy dunone who is he did not want to tell me if mrs kumar was in or not. If he told me he's busy, she's sleeping etc, i would have just put down the phone. he was like asking where was i calling from and what's my name etc. AND he was damn RUDE. pure RUDE. stupid stupiid. I was trying to be very nice and all and he asked me for my name and insulted me. he said my voice sounded like a girl and i should me called ms tan :( i already emphasised i am MR tan and yet he still insisted i am ms tan. F***k!!! :( Really ar. i was damn pissed. I know. My voice does sound like a girl on the phone. But i have clarified. Why can't you accept it? Sick person. Then he was asking for the office number and all. and ask for MY extension. He was like very wary of my identity and said things like what if he called the managers and they say no such person? :( Wow. I was so =.=||||| and he was really making me angrier. Jeffrey came to my rescue and i was still so angry!

Even that day, when i went home, I was still so angry and sad! I mean its like i only called him at 9.45pm. You call it late? It may be rather late but not everyone sleeps so early like you! Furthermore, why didn't you try to like tell me mrs kumar - where the hell is she? Ask you and ask you - don't want come straight to the point. If she's sleeeping, tell me! The conversation would have ended. I was so damn upset that night. Jeffrey was like questioning me lots of things and because of this puny phone call. operations stop at 930. STUPID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! really very pissed. haix.

well. i realised i have been busy with connecting with my friends... lol. went out with chuan on friday lo. For the first time, chuan nv revealed any preference for location, so on and so forth. Chuan very weird de lo. He always have a strong preference for certain locations like jurong point or jec (jurong entertainment centre). There was one time i was rather pissed with him when we arranged an outing out. hahas. then now ok la. watched silent hill with him - nice movie! hahas. very scary wors. hahas. then a lot of thingys. hahas. poor thing for sharon- haix. hahas. then the endiing like quite sad - :(

then ba comms like warming up lo. got this BAsh it out thingy. looks like i will be real busy again... hahas. got to noe this girl frm ba comm lor. called frances. haha. talk to her online and juz chat and chat and chat. hahas.

haiyo. then sat went to help out at FamFlicks 2006. Saw mr thaman, ms amy kor and ms foo. hahas. then i think it was quite erm messy? dunnoe eh. the important folks came so late, making us wait for like 1/2 hr for them? :(

then 2dae went to help cafe heart @ science centre. ahahas. from 12-2.30pm. i was reviving the old cafe cartel times. too bad i am not being paid today! hahaas. :)
