mp3 playerz

I met Sean yesterday loz...we went to JE Central to have lunch- duck rice and later we played pool.

The day before, i stayed behind to download sean's wanted music. He was like sending me a lot of songs and the downloading time was damn slow. Lol. We were using two ways to download the songs- the direct way (3 songs at a time) and the MSN file sharing function. The MSN file sharing sucks big time and only downloads 1 song at a time =(. Very sadly, my computer internet suddenly disconnect for no reason (perhaps IP conflict was the reason) and the downloading songs were cancelled :S .Sean was pissed, so was me. We closed msn file sharing and we just continued to download the songs by the direct way. It was past 3am and i was so tired that i go and rest, while sean went to sleep for a while. When it was 4plus am, sean shut off his computer. it was such a pity! There was a file - that has about 400+kb left... lol... I procceeded to transfer his songs into his player. i think his play has about 60 to 70 plus songs le loz... i uploaded 52 of my own to him...I was soooooooooooooooooooooo sleepy...

I saw him immediately before we met at our place of meeting - JE popular. We went to the coffee shop to have our lunch loz...

After lunch, we walked around the nearby shops. Sean went to a shop called Thousand Tastes shop and bought trading cards- not WWF anymore and something new!

Sean is addicted to another new game- Versus Series (correct? hmmm...) Then it invoves the marvel superheroes in comics and arcade games. Spiderman, supergirl and more. Sean was drawn to this game after going to the trip to Clarke Quay with his relatives. He went to a shop that actually has the competitions going on and stuff that has got to do with Versus Series. He also got to know that if he gets good in the game, he can participate in the competitions and win cold, hard cash! Hence, he made the investment to get the starter deck. Well, to continue it, he needs to buy the boosters and stuff. He bought 2 boosters. Haha. He was old and happy when he won the card - supergirl! =) Of course, i understand that, as this character is one of the most important character in the comics and stuff.

Next, i am still not good at pool- keep on hitting the ball and it would not hit any other- creating a illegal move :( it was very fun! Soon, it was time to work. Sean went to library to return books and stuff while i went to work. Quite a memorable day wor....

Anyway, sean still would not get the usb wire. Sean is just too lazy to get it or prefers to spend it on boosters le.. :( I still would like to wish him luck in the new trading card game he has started to play....

...mrt blues...

Recently, i heard that a guy dropped his shoe into the MRT tracks and while picking his shoe, he got knocked down by the train and died.

"What a sad story," I thought.

It was lucky that daus, sean, malik, dhil and i changed the plan. Our initial plan was to go to Cathay Orchard. Sean's cousin mandy was initailly having some CIP there so we will tag along.

If we went on the original route, could we have taken the "accident" train? There will be emergency stop and stuff. We would be in a daze and stuff. Under us could have been the man. That's quite spooky... Because i remember that time when i took MRT to woodlands to meet sean, i saw the time left for the next train (bound pasir ris) was just the usual timing.

3-5 minues. Then the timing for the accident was 2 plus. It is like the next train was..
Wx@%4

Lol. Anyway... i don't like accidents like this to happen. It is just simply creepy....

oh no...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Wen Xiu!

I am very sorry for forgetting ur birthday loz... lol.. like i dun have you HP no. so i cannot send you the message of apologies. So i am appealing to wen xiu - HAPPY BELATED Birthday!!! :):)

Just get on life with a smile always.. although it is not always easy...

... outx ...

Let me recount what happened on Good friday- 25 march loz...

Daus, sean, malik, fadhil and i went to watch Sponge Box Square Pants- The Movie at Causeway point. The place was very crowded due the public holiday joy.

The starting was very funny. It showed a group of people- sailors discovering a treasure -free tickets to spongebob square pants - the movie. They were all cheerful and stuff. Such that they stumbled into the cinema... ransacking the popcorn counters and stuff.

lol... the storyline is very simple - the king of the sea lost his crown due to the villian's plan z. Spongebob and his friend began their journey to find the crown back. meanwhile, they met with lots of challenges...

I rate it 4 out of 5 stars! It is very educational too :) got lots of moral of the story. Nice movie! Afterthat, we went home... taking mrt. Sean asked me to upload some songs into his player... i have uploaded some.. and am waiting for his response to how to return his player. lol

cat visit.....................................

lol.. a cat visited my house yesterday, or 22.3.05! lol..

It was like he/she went through the gates and into my house! He went in once, when i was not yet home. My father was busily online and was like very shocked when it came in. of course, he shooed it away... lol

When i reached home, i see the cat looking around outside. It was soo CUTE! lol.. then, my house door was left open. It suddenly glided in and went into my house again! =) it was such a funny sight....

It went around the house.. looking around. it was rubbing its fur around my furniture and stuff.. and started exploring my kitchen. I was like trying to shoo it away as it started to target the rubbish bin. lol.. Then i fed him with some food - bak kua and tuna. It was so cute as it was chasing me when i touted him with the tuna. Its paws was like crawling up to get the tuna from me. It also circled around me and it looked so adorable. I was patting his fur loz... lol

When it was time for it to go out, it did not want to go off loz. It began lying on the floor looking quite sleepy. But after some shooing and stuff... it left.

Until now, i still miss the cat! i wished i could have a cat in my house; but my parents especially my dad would definitely say a BIG NO....

newbie stuff happened and more...

Apologies for not updating my blog wor.. Quite a lot of things happened these few days.. so let me recount them one by one...

20.3.05

I went to the Food & Beverage Fair with my mum. It was SO crowded! We were squeezing around here and there. Many foods and drinks were bought home and eaten/sampled there. The slight upsetting thing was that when i was passing the bowl of soup (90%) eaten, she did not grasp hold of it properly and it dropped on the floor and spilled. It was lucky that only a little was left...

My MuVo² was turned on during the whole outing :) It was so great. Now it has 100+ songs le

19.3.05

I had OT on that day. Before that, Daus sean and i met at creative to buy the things we wanted... however, things went wrong right in the morning.

1. I guessed i told Sean on fri that we meet at 10am [I cannot remember] but i forgot about it. So when after work on fri when daus told me we meet at 10.30am, i thought i told sean 10.30am.
2. Sean was already at Creative at 10am. He was old and angry when i told him that i thought i told him 10.30am. He called my HP many times and was frustrated enough to call my house. My mum was very sour as she was woken up
3. Sean was grumpy and uphappy about the waiting as daus and i reached there 11am.

Things went on quite well later. I tried my best to apologise to him and his anger soon cooled. The T-est guy - Michael appeared, as he also wanted to buy something from Creative. Sean was decisive about buying the Creative MuVo TX FM while i was still contempating to buy MuVo² or Zen Micro. In the end, i bought MuVo²! =-) hahaaaaaa

Daus and Michael bought a Digi Cam and wala... we went back to jurong east central. We bought the Ramly burger. Daus'and mine is chicken patty while sean's is beef... And lala... daus and i went to work.

Sadly ah, i do not have OT on sun, as i finished my job on sat :( so i dun have extra money le...

I was like uploading a lot of music to my player.... I was simply excited!

18.3.05

Lalaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.. That day daus was like telling me about the creative fair at early morning... I was so sleepy that morning. i said i am not going loz... But upon hearing that that sean would be alone since daus needs to go to mosque and give in. Daus and i went to JE Central to find sean and we walked to creative. There a tiny woody hurdle when reaching there. One piece of wood was old and soft. It was scary loz... lol...

We looked at the prices and i saw the MuVo USB 2.0 which cost $169. However, that one has no screen. So it wasn't that great afterall... Hence, sean said he wanted the $199 player -- Creative MuVo FM TX. This one looks like a thumb drive as the thing is connected by pulling out a small part of it. Then daus saw the Zen mirco which as storage space of 4 GB and just $100. MuVo² is also 299 and storage space of 5 GB. But ah.. at that point in time, i did not make any decision loz... so i was rotting at home thinking about which player to buy...

Later, Sean and i went to meet chuan and Ben. It was a meeting to operation Kbox. Sean was like free and came along. Of course, he did not go k box la... we only had lunch together. Chuan and Ben wanted to eat hawker food so they went to somewhere else. Sean and i wanted to eat Delifrance. however, it was packed and the crowd looked threatening... lol. Sean was bored, and he suggested us playing pool. I wanted to go but time was not really on my side. Howevery, rom the enquiries from the staff of K box, we could not go into the room until 2pm. So it was like 1.30pm... half an hour to go.

Fate allowed me and i finally had the taste of pool! YAY!!! lol... hahax.. it is a fun game anyway... and i enjoyed it :)

Operation K box was quite successful. Ben, chuan and i sang many songs. The songs that left a deep impression are Jolin Tsai's songs, Jay Zhou's songs, the song: cartoon heroes by aqua.

It looks i am becoming a fan of Jolin Tsai le. She is simply so cute and she sings so well! :)

Chuan is such a fan of Jay Zhou that i think he practised them at home. He used another kind of voice that resembles Jay to sing his songs. It sounded so shocking! lol.. i should have recorded them down on my HP :)

The song cartoon heroes - by aqua was great as it was the first time i watched the MTV! it also reminded me of the sec 2 days.... I used this song for the fun dance wanted by mrs. Kwok.

I left at 5.35pm and headed for work. I only took half day leave for work loz.. hmmm

So how was the recount? YAWN! it is almost 4am le.... aiyo... i took quite long to type this wor...

..shopping...

Well... daus and i went to IMM to do some shopping.

Daus shopping list

1. a sandal from world of sports (tick)
2. a long pants or jeans (bought it from hang ten- jeans) [tick]

My shopping list

1. A nice grey shirt from world of sports {tick}
2. A sports-jersey like shirt from hang ten {tick}

Daus bought some good food from goold old old chang kee and i bought bread from RotiMum. the bread was so nice.. with the coffee and buttery taste...

Later, we went to HarbourFront. Daus wanted to eat Western food (halal 1) but it was closed = ( haix..

In the end we toured around harbourFront centre and ate at McDonald's. Daus and i visited a kiddy shop that sells some aeroplanes with controllers. Then we went to a shop that sells model bikes, cars and vespas. daus was especially excited when he saw the vespa models. lol. At mac, daus ordered an upsize of McSpicy Double meal. I ordered the 1.95 burger- tempura chicken :) Ok that's all ah... we walked to the mosque premises while i waited for Daus at the bus stop while he went for his daily prayers...

**operation SG**

CONGRATS! Operation SG was a success = ).

Daus, Sean, rain and i went to Seoul Garden for lunch. It was considered a treat for Daus and Sean as they said that i shuld tream them as being good friends and also i started working earlier than them. We have been plannig to go to SG or Hyatt hotel. Operation Hyatt was cancelled as the price of the buffet is far too steep. *lol...

We met at Jurong East MRT control and went to the branch at Ngee Ann City. Well with lots and craps and updates about our stuff, we reached Somerset MRT, where Daus insisted that Ngee Ann is nearer to. i feel that it is nearer to Orchard loz, since it is nearer to Wisma.

The food was good, but i feel that the soup pot is far too small. It is like you put some noodles inside and it becomes very full looking. I liked the BBQ part as it was fun and the meat tasted good. I grilled a corn and it took ages loz... However, when it was cooked, it tasted so delicious. ;)

We were really bloated when we made our gateway to go out of the place. All of us were quite lost as we did not plan to go anywhere. Haha. In the end, we stood outside Ngee Ann city to watch some strongman challenge: carry 2 tree logs for a shuttle run length. It was quite a tough test but the people were slow at starting the competition. We were like waiting for it to start while the MCs crapped a lot.

Next, we suddenly heard some music that pricked our ears. It was the "wicked aura" performing! Haha.. it was the first time i watched them performed their music. We sat there for quite a long time. I tried to record their music using my HP, but it did not work. :S However, the music played sounds quite exciting loz... and very interesting

In the end, when rain and Daus wanted to go to the mosque for daily prayers, sean, rain and sean rewarded them $2 for their performance while i gave them $1. Sean and i waited for them at the outside of the mosque while Sean and I chatted. Well, I have not chatted with wen long for quite a time so we had quite a lot to talk about...

We went to the Hereen Shops and rotted around there. The basement is such a cool place with the wheel pouring down water and stuff. We took some pictures of remembrance and left that place; to the shops. I saw an MP3 player at $229. It is the MTV version and it was so tiny! I think i am buying it. = )

Daus suddenly got lost as he said he wanted to go washroom. He could not find the toilet available at the level we were in and went downstairs. as a result, we kept calling him to find out where he was. We were sitting at some seats near the escalator and looked at people.. hahax...Rain was like wanting to buy some clothes, but he did not buy afterall.

Afterthat, we went to Cathay Cineleisure to look around. Sean was bugging to go home but Daus was like don want. Sean suggested playing pool. However, the tables there were FULL and there were even people waiting for their turn. I have not played pool; i am looking forward to it.

So we headed for the MRT since it was like 7 plus. Sean needed to go to his grandpa's house to see his cousins and stuff. Dau and rain wanted to buy the school of rock DVD/VCD (not sure) so they went to farrer park MRT to get some halfpriced stuff. For me, i went home with wen long.

I bought some food from the pasar malam at JE central for my mum as she wanted some foods and stuff...

I am glad that operation SG was a success. :) Although 80 bucks was spent on myself, daus n sean, i still feel great. More friendship reunions please... =D

… eh hey…

Today, Daus and I went out.

We took 166 to Harbourfront MRT station to have our lunch. As what we have expected, the hawker centre was old and crowded. We decided to walk around Habourfront Centre before going back there for lunch. Suddenly, the word “BREEKS!” appeared in front of us. = ). The pictures there were quite tempting. Daus was looking for the Halal symbol. Alas! We saw a symbol of halal, prominent although small ; )

We happily settled into the restaurant with a welcoming smile from a Malay waitress. We looked at the menus in interest as the expensive prices of foods were displayed to us. I ordered a set meal, which consists of a soup, main dish, and dessert. The soup was mushroom bistro, while the main dish is a chicken leg with pineapple sauce and the dessert was rock melon with fresh cream and cherry. The soup was fantastic. The main dish was ok, but the vegetables were hardly edible. They were so hard! It seemed that the chef did not scald the vegetables long enough. The mash potatoes were nice and the sauce went very well with it. It was shaped in a leaf-like shape and it tasted good. As for the dessert, it was not exactly fantastic as the melon pieces – some of them were slightly tasteless although there were sweet ones. The cherry marvellous, but it not taste exactly that great either. So what is my final grade for this restaurant? (lol) This coffee house got 3/5 stars. I guess they need to improve their food.

As for Daus, he ordered fish and chips with a beverage called Blue Dolphin. According to Daus, he thinks that the beverage is quite a screw of money. It consists of Sprite/7-up with some icy stuff which Daus cannot recognise. Its taste seemed to be undetectable. Hmmmmmm…. All together, his cost 13 bucks but mine only cost 12.80. what a money eat-up! (lol) Mine, as can be seen, is more value for money… = )

Daus went to the nearest mosque for his daily prayers. I met him by taking the same bus he was in and we set off to work. I was bugged by Sean about going to the chalet and we discussed about it in the 166 bus. During work, I nearly took a one day leave to go for tomorrow’s steamboat. Daus was kind of apprehensive. I was kind of confused. Even it was around 5.30pm to 6pm, the decision to take leave still could not be established. I was quite frustrated. I asked Yue Hua for advice. She thinks that taking urgent leave is not exactly a good decision. By right, this reason—going to an outing or chalet is not that important. And yet, I chose not to give 3 days advance to take leave. It reflects in your attitude and stuff. Urgent leave is left for very important matters. I realised she was true. Hence, I told Daus I am not going already. Daus was not that keen to go, to be frank. When I took a leave form, he has not taken it yet.

Well, it’s ok. I just wish all people who are chilling out at the chalet now a good day! I am very sorry for not attending the chalet as attributed to the reason of having to work. Perhaps next time? I guess no, but I think fate will bring us together. 403(2004) will always be the class that rocks big time and I value our times together as in the chalet in December.

GOOD LUCK in whatever you do, for all blog readers, whether your gate to JC is open to you and you are reaching there, or POLYTECHNIC gates opens to you, or the other technical institutes.

I will continue to work as per normal and maybe rest for a month before school starts. This plan may change, as now I do not have exact ideas when poly starts. I hear rumours that it will start in May or earlier, rather than in June. As we further our studies, we might drift away… but I hope everyone in 403 remember the pleasant memories shared in sec 3 and 4…....................................................

The teachers were not exactly clear of things loz... It was until ms dalina and ms foo came then we got some clear idea of how will it be like... Many thanks to these teachers! I had lunch at school and the auntie was like quite happy when she saw me..

Well, i asked teachers on advice on IT VS Business course. Ms dalina hinted that IT may be unstable. Ms foo said biz better. Mrs Ang said IT is is more specific and more a skill.. Well... so what was my choice? I chose Business course as my first choice--- so NP here i come hahaaa

updates...

lol.. have not been bloggin ah huh? lol... let me tell ya my firstly credits to the people i think i should really than for my results (although you may think it is kinda lousy afterall...)

1. EL ... Well... i must thank these two teachers => Ms Dalina and Miss Beatrice Kong. These teachers really made an effort to help me whenever possible. I still can remember ms kong and I sitting at the round tables outside the hall while we went through some passages and comprehensions. I collected the other school's examination answer scripts from ms dalina when it was the one week self study period. Ms dalina insisting that i should comple the papers before seeing her for advice... Also, i have tuition-- must thank mr lai... But he did not really do a lot la... i think our school teachers better... ;)

2. Maths ... Mdm Lye! of coz... She spend how much time on maths with us? The like arranged so many sessions with us to go through maths concepts while going through exam papers... She is just simply great... Mrs lim is another person to thank as she made quite a good foundation of s3 maths...

3. Sci (Phy/Chem) Well well well... Mdm yeo gets the credit.. of course.. i still can remember her attempting to squeeze time as much as possible to go through exam papers.. and creating answer sheets. The exam papers from other schools do not have answers provided loz... so sad... Mdm yeo... thank you! :)

4. POA - Mrs Ang loz... i still could remember asking mrs ang questions.. asking and asking her via sms. Mrs Ang is not a HYSS teacher le.. she can don't help he loz.. it is really nice of her to help me... I sent her an e-mail of the questions i have doubts to her. It was so many loz. Yet, she made an effort to reply them as detailed as possible to make me understand... You rock! :)
Mrs tan.. another teacher to comment too... made an effort to coach in stuff n made us come back during the 1 week self study.... Humorous too... like her sense of humour :)

5. Chinese- although the results was long over... let thank good old mdm wang qiong! Now she is somewhere in canada? Hmmz...
sorry for posting a backdated entry.... it's actually about my job la.. it was like now my section we are looking after is soooooooooo empty... a lot of tests all completed... haha.. now left yue hua (my colleague) and me. Well... yesterday she was sick and it resulted in A HIGH workload and it was very scary... With her around... i was much happier.. got someone to talk to wad... haha...

Then Yue hua was running a test for sean. She was already finishing the test. But by that time, it was close to end work time-- 10.30pm. The printer was giving us problem and the papers would not come out. we were so frustrated and we sort of beg and talked to the printer to make it more *guai* Peising was laughing at us loz.. hahaa...

Finally... the stack of papers finished. We sort of cheered and i liked the moment. YAY! It was kinda funny... really :)
