Since now it's 2.30am, I have edited the entry date to the correct day.... lol
I watched the movie "Guess Who" today. I think i am a crazy person who is a movie freako. The recent movie: Creep freaked me out but i am still spending my freaking money to watch movie again. This story is touching, and also a sort of comedy. It relates to America's society thought of the two main races- the blacks and the whites. It is like a "white" guy is planning to get engaged with a "black" girl. What happened was that the girl did not tell her parents about the news. Her father, especially, was extremely unhappy that his daughter liked a white guy. This story is racial discrimation in USA. Even now, in 2005, the modern world. So there was a series of events that let to the acceptance of the white guy. The story is funny. It is also sad. My eyes were slightly teary in the movie loz... Then the actors were very natural. Very touching. Especially when the father accepts the white guy...
Who were the people who watched the movie with me? Me, michelle and Peising. In fact yue hua and Karen wanted to come , but they got some other events in the end... Haha- managed to reach work on time. Work was relaxing-- just helped around. LOL...

Ok. Let me sumarise what happened today
1. Met Chuan at JP
2. Ate Long John Silvers for lunch. The $3.90 set is cheap and nice!
3. Bought a gift for Karen :) Practically visited all the gift shops in JP
4. Met Wee Siang at the Sushi restaurant at B1
5. Went to NLB Jurong West
6. Watched "Creep".
Shudders. I find it very scary. It freaks me out after watching the movie. Lucky Singapore's MRT underground stations not the uncovered ones like in UK and US. If not, i would not like to take MRT at night (underground stations). Too bad, the ending is not solid enough. 4.3/5 stars :)

upcoming events
lol.. here are my upcoming events :
1. bA Orientation Camp from 4th to 6th of May [took 3 days leave]
2. Orientation Day -12 May[formal invitation ceremony at np] {took 1/2 day leave}
3. Resignation from my company : T-est 17 May
4. Business school orientation Day camp: 18, 19 & 20 May
Lol.. Like lots of events ah huh? These things are happening soon... I am going to miss working, i promise.
Although schooling is always better, i developed feelings for my workplace, colleagues and friends made there. I would miss Yue Hua. My teacher and my friend who guided me when i arrived to run the printers. I miss the Hoos and haaas to take the papers to run the printers. I miss the lame jokes and the numerous chats while we run the printers.
Afterall, i have worked in this company close to 3 months already. I am very familiar with my work. Going back to school would be another struggle to digest lectures, studying, getting ready for tests and stuff. I have lost touch! I have not done this starting from Dec 04' to Early May 05'! It is FIVE whole months! I am getting rusty! I have spent this time working at different places. This job is my 4th. Although it may be boring at times, I still think this job is money that is earned most easily. I enjoy this job. It's particularly fun with Daus around when he was.
And he will come back. Late november 2005. LOL! :):)
I think I miss the people i know too. I know have newbie who looks like yongxun. I don't know why. Is it his hair? haha. Or is it his cap? Or his looks? I just get a feeling of the sight of yongxun when i see him. lol
Even when i first saw Peising, she reminded me of Wendy Chong. i don't know why. Perhaps i just miss 403. yes. 403 (2004)

hehe?!
I have not been bloggin.. and oops my site seem to be pretty quiet after my last post. I guess most of us are busy with our own lives, whether is it work or school. Or people feeling that the things i discuss are too mundane or boring? :(
I have been most of time working and earning more OTs. Let me recount some significant events happened these past few days...
Apr 17 -OT on sunday.. earned $90 in a day.. i manged 4 printers.. which sounds scary, but i managed it quite well...
Apr 16- OT on sat. I was occupied with some lending of my mp3 player with my friend n colleague- Peising. In fact, i wanted to lend her my player from friday onwards. However, my player chose to give problems and it became laggy. =X
I was extremely worried for my player. Horrid thoughts of going back to the creative building made me feel uncomfortable. I tried repairing myself my going to the recovery mode. I reflashed the firmware - it was better but it did not really help a lot. I went on to reformat the player. Ah.... finally it WORKed! haaha. I sort of delivered the mp3 player to her as she was goin to k box and she wanted to record the songs she sang using my player =)
I went there and was shocked that she was not there(at k box)! lol. I see only yue hua and her friend - sharon. =S Haha.. i sang a few songs with em' and peising n michelle came. :) I passed the player to her and left for work.
Well... i thought 166 goes to Chinatown. However, i did not see the bus stop that has 166! I was worrying about reaching work. Luckily, my eyes fell on the bus no. 143. it reaches my company! yay!!!! Hahaaa.. I took the bus to work loz.. Due to the delays here and there, i reallised i was about to be late soon. I ran to the building. I knew the door would be locked - sats and suns only... I quickly called Shalini, my colleague cum friend to open the door for me. (she was already inside the lab). I managed to not be late! *smiles* *smiles*
Apr 15- normal work, but only half day. Pei sing and i went to Ngee Ann Poly Matriculation Day.
When i was planning to go there i thought i would just take bus 105 to Clementi the transfer to some free shuttle bus. I was VERY wrong! haha. The free shuttle bus only operates till 9 plus am. Hence, i have no free bus to take. With some surveying around the interchange and bus stops, i found out i can take take 154 or 184 to reach Ngee Ann. Wah. First time take this kind of bus - very blur feel. It was lucky that i managed to stop at the right stop :)
Well, on the way, i met some HY people like chee boon, kelvin, and joseph.. lolx.
Peising and i went through the matriculation and submitted the forms respectively to the different stations. Later, we were clotted by a lot of people asking us to join camps- sport camp, FOC camp, bA(business & accountancy) camp. At first, we thought of going to the FOC camp. however, to our shock, we found out that the camp if full - the do not need anymore people! Like that's fast? hmmm... Then we joined the bA camp loz... Since both of us in the same category... Sean came with his father on that day... giving a good surprise and shock. i was thinking: shouldn't he have completed his matricualtion a few days ago? lol. He told me he got some problems faced during the matriculation...So he's going back. Hmmm...
Peising and i went to the laptop computer tour. We were bugged by people encouraging us to buy their computers. It is just too bad i am on a budget. if not i would be looking at the more powerful models. We sat at the place there to discuss on how are we goin the settle the leave matters and when we are leaving the company.
Later, we went to Delifrance @ JE Entertainment to eat. We made use of our coupons given when we made a donation to the narcotics organisation(bought at $2, with a $1 voucher). The food was good. I enjoyed the the of the foods a lot. Then as we were to go to work, peising told me she needed to buy slippers for michelle. Michelle's sandals suddenly broke =X. It also started to rain. ;S After buying the sandals, we went to work. On the way walking to the building, the rain was so heavy that the left side of my shirt was soaking wet.. lol
Apr 14. Went to watch the Samara with Peising, Justin and Karen. It was scary loz.. The morning movie has so few people... hahaaa...story line quite esay to understand.. heheee
We were late for work(15min) as we watched a later movie. I thought still got The eye 10. It is not true at all. The eye10 just ended.. =X
I did OT on this day too! I worked till 2.15am. My surpervisor, Paul was old and tired. Both of us took cab and headed home. It is lucky that the money of the cab fare can be claimed. *hahe*
So ok... That's is all loz.. feeling very old already.. now 4.16am le ZzzZzzz

some thoughts...
When you hear a certain song or music, you get drawn to it after the first hearing. You just want to hear it one more time. As you hear the second time, you hope to hear it another day. You just like its tune or even its lyrics. what does that mean? You are addicted to the song. The genre that is for that song suits you the most. Lol.. am a crapping or what? i am just stating some facts so you would be aware of... haha.
I am now addicted to winamp =) The player simply rocks! It rocks big time and i like it so much now. Why am i excited over this funny player which is weird and so called "lousy"? Yes... i agree in the past that it was ordinary and not that fantastic at all. It is some player comparable to windows media player, real player, or itunes....
The highlight i want to make is that winamp has free streaming media!! Yes. You can watch free MTV. There are so many music videos to choose from. You may be able to find the singer you love and watch their music videos. There are a lot and a lot of them. Hwever, not everything is listed... you still can watch the music videos that are available loz... I just simply love it!!

I must comment yongxun for his efforts to bring everyone together. He created a forum and i was linked to it by sean's tagboard.

It's nice even i am really not a metal/rock fan. There lots of stuff to post message. :D However, i realised that people who came in later could even post in more messages... ';)

Anyway, i did OT today. It was quite a tiring one as i was forced to over shoot by 6 minutes on the timer to complete my task.

Daus has quit on friday. He got a lot farewell presents.. (wow) Then i was hmmm.. feelin sad.
Although Daus lives so near me, i do not know i get the chance to meet daus again (unless appointment la)

I got my "welcome" package yesterday. There were so many forms to fill in! Aiyo... I was all dizzy after reading the forms and the thing i need to fill in. I still need to be present on 15 April 05 for the Matriculation Day... Then go and buy laptop ans stuff... =X

laptop horrors n more...
Lots of things happened these few days loz.. let me recount them one by one...
April 1st
Mum and i went to my grandmother's temple to "sao mu" for Qing ming festival. I met my cousins and my aunties loz.
We went to "Pu tien" restaurant for lunch. The food was good but something upset us a lot. The cashier cum waitress accidentally pushed the bottle of vinegar and cup of tea of my poor 3rd auntie. Her dress was old, wet and sticky. It was luckily that she wore a dark coloured dress. Yf not, the result would be unimaginable. :S
My cousin drove mum and I to Bugis. We began to shop around. My mum was searching for some cheap and good mangos.
Along the way, i met wang lin! Long time never see her le.. still as pretty. Her hair is nicely coloured and stuff loz... n still so tall(maybe taller than me?) lol She was together with a friend loz. We had a quick chat and i went off to find my mum.
The crowd volume is quite high although it was Friday ( weekday)
I managed to trick Yue Hua! Lol. I told her that i did not buy the mushroom cheese soup for her although i got it for her from cold's storage (parco bugis junction). She was disappointed and sad but i surprised her by dropping a packet of the soup on the floor. she was shocked and surprised. I was laughing all the way loz.. later at work.. lol
April 3
Mum and i went to JP(Jurong point). We were having an aim of getting a cordless phone for our house. We went to Courts and bought the promotion phone loz. The disturbing thing was that the box that we took did not have....
1. A battery( like that how to use???)
2. a telephone cord [ use old ones ah :( ]
I called up the company and they say i have to go back there to claim the things i should have. This is simply so troublesome!
April 4
I was too lazy to wake up. I did not do the claim afterall. It was raining the whole day and it was cold. Many of us are drinking hot drinks and wearing long sleeves for/during work.
Anyway.. yongxun has created a forum... i invite music lovers esp metal rock punk to join in... Viola! Please visit the link...
Anyway.. i found out as a ngee ann poly student in the business course, i need to have a laptop.. which is so expensive :(! I want eat someone up le...
